Patrick and Amanda’s sweet love story started when they met in college. Their engagement session was filled with the most amazing glowy light, and their adorable French Bulldog Walter. Walter is a huge part of their lives, so it was only fitting that he got to take part in their engagement session as well.
I loved Patrick’s timeless velvet blazer and Amanda’s eloquent white dress and the elegant fall bouquet by The Flower Girl. Truly the perfect outfits for a sophisticated downtown Raleigh engagement session.
We started their engagement session at the Melrose Knitting Mill near downtown Raleigh and finished in the fields and meadow at the North Carolina Museum of Art. I loved that our locations were a mix of modern sophisticated and timeless romantic. It was such a joy chasing the evening light with you two of you. I am so excited for your Market Hall wedding in December!
A note about the session from the bride: We had the absolute pleasure of having Jill photograph our engagement photos and we could not have dreamed of a better experience. Jill was personable and professional, coaching us through the entire process, making us feel like naturals in front of a camera. Right from the start, Jill removed all of our nerves and before we knew it, we were having a blast. I could have never imagined that our photos could turn out this beautiful and I cannot wait to have Jill there with us on our wedding day.
